Mark DeGennaro

Managing Director

Mark DeGennaro joined Gruppo, Levey & Co. as a Managing Director in 1998 and is head of the firm’s Restructuring Advisory Group.

With over twenty years of combined business and legal experience in a variety of industries, including multi-channel direct to consumer, media, financial services, banking and entertainment, Mr. DeGennaro brings extensive experience in structuring and negotiating transactions to the firm and its clients. He is involved in transactions in all aspects of the firm’s focal segments, with experience in numerous distressed out of court and bankruptcy related sales, buyouts and restructurings.

Prior to joining GLC, Mr. DeGennaro was an attorney with White & Case in New York, where he worked on commercial litigation, corporate control, mergers and acquisitions, securities, bankruptcy and restructuring matters for fortune 500 companies, financial sponsors and lenders.

Mr. DeGennaro received a B.A. from LeMoyne College and a J.D. from Creighton University School of Law.
