Antonia Ness joined Gruppo, Levey & Co. in 2004 and advises entrepreneurs, family business owners, debtor estates and private equity sponsors on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, capital raises, valuation assignments and restructurings. Ms. Ness focuses on the multi-channel retail and marketing services sectors and works with growing and distressed businesses, in and out of bankruptcy. At GLC, Ms. Ness has focused primarily on consumer companies, advising clients including Lillian Vernon, Pets.com, Spilsbury, MacKenzie-Childs, Alloy and numerous other consumer catalog and Internet businesses.

Prior to joining GLC, Ms. Ness was a Senior Research Associate at Raymond James & Associates where she was responsible for the firm’s coverage of stocks in the consumer finance and brokerage sectors, including consumer credit card lenders, online markets and trade execution businesses.

Ms. Ness received a B.A. in Politics and Economics from Princeton University in 1999 and a Masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004. While at Penn, she studied consumer behavior and virtual market structures, and conducted extensive research on the Business Process Outsourcing. Ms. Ness holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
